Use "Change printer options" to amend control codes and printer output name. Load with EdAs Option 3 or MiniMem Load and Run. Autostarts. 1 Catalogs up to 123 disks & 900 files on each set of data files.. 2 Allows storage of multiple data files on one data disk. In fact, one bare DSSD disk holds more than 5 full sets of data, enabling you to store more. than 5000 programs and 600 disks on one data disk.. 3 Saves data for later listings, additons, or deletions.. 4 Load and/or reload data files without rebooting program. 4 Works on single or multiple disk systems.. 5 For single disk systems there is no need to continually switch disks until all deletions & additons are made.. 6 For multiple disk systems you can catalog a disk from any drive.. 7 When adding disks, catalog is listed on the screen. You have the option of. adding the disk or not.. 8 When adding disks, you are informed if the diskname is already on file. If it is, you can either replace the old listing with the new (in the case of. an update, etc.), or you can give the new listing a tempory name (as in the. case of a backup disk, etc).. 9 Catalogs these "funny sectored" disks:. Those that appear not initialized. Those that appear empty because sector 1 has been altered. 10 Eliminates all non-printable characters from file and disk names, replacing. them with a period, since no legal name contains a period.. This eliminates sending unwanted control codes to your printer. 11 Print a standard format catalog of any disk on file in your library, including the funny sectored disks.. 12 Outputs the following to screen or printer:. Summary of disks. Complete listing of files. Conventional catalog listing of any disk on file. 13 Output complete catalog of all disks, disk by disk, either for all disks or. selectively, to the printer.. 14 Chose 1,2, or 3 columns for printer outputs.. 15 100% assembly language = fast sorts =================================== DSKUTILS DKKUTILDOC Disk Utilities 2 by John Birdwell. "Call LOAD version of object code for checksum program, BY TOM FREEMAN,LA 99ERS" Docs in DV80 file CHECKSUM. DV80 files: BALL, BUGZ, CAMEL, CAT, CHAR, CHICK, CRAPS, CURSE, DRAW, DULZ, FUSE, GEM, HUSTLE, JAMIE, JOY, MATCH1, MATCH2, MAZOID, MOUSE, PEG, PHONE, PUZZLE, SHIP, SONAR, STOMP, TICTAC, WAVE, WHALES, WHEELS. - these are all instructions for the connected XB Program files starting TINY. Other DV80 files: CONTENTS - just a disk directory list. DETAILS OF EACH TINY PROGRAM (all are ExBas): TINYBALL- BALLPARK. Req 32k, uses CALL LOADs. Plays just 13 notes of music "Take me out to the ballpark" Start with CALL LINK("S"). Music is in low memory. Refers to Micropendium June 1988. TINYBUGZ = control a fly, touch spiders before they get your eggs. The spiders may entangle you in their web! Use ESDX TINYCAMEL = game for TWO players, add 1-9 boxes to the camel but at some point all the boxes will drop off. Random. TINYCAT - a disk cataloguer (to screen). (Original by John Guion) TINYCHAR - (=keyboard version of TINYJOY) Use ESDX to move cursor around 8x8 grid and alternate locations from on to off with key 4. When doe press key 4 for the hex code for the character. Press 5 to clear the grid. TINYCHICK- one key game: Key E to move chick, only one direction is possible. Avoid the moving sprites. TINYCRAPS. - Computer decides "hit number"- target to reach but not exceed (you do not know the number). Roll single die and accumulate points but don't reach / exceed the target. Also avoid rolling the same dice score twice at the start. One player game. Y to roll again. Just press ENTER to end a round. Then the computer has a go. Ten rounds per game. (In a drawn game, the computer wins). TINYCURSE - The data items are mercifully empty so not explicit as delivered. Edit to produce a sentence May Your (Variable 1) Never (Variable 2=Verb) But May It (Variable 3=Verb) For (Variable 4=Time Period) Until Your (Variable 5=Noun) (Variable 6=Verb) At (Variable 7=Place) TINYDRAW - Use Joystick 1 to move cursor, press FIRE to turn square on - to turn it off select the screen colour and press fire over it. The color is indicated in the bottom left corner. Cycle the colours by pressing C. E will erase all on squares. S will save "image". The docs have the program you need to see your saved image. TINYDULZ - original program by Jim Peterson, plays imitation dulcimer version of "The Wildwood Flower" - the tune plays for 15 seconds and then repeats until you tire of it and BREAK TINYFUSE - travel over the asterisks (*) without going over your previous path. If you pause your movement the end of your trail will head towards you (the fuse) and if it reaches you, game over. Keys ESDX. Fuse is lit when you start moving so study the layout first. TINYGEM - original program by Dave Weisfeldt. Simple menu selection to send control codes to your printer to set the font to use. Preset to use PIO in Line 4. Printer commands if they need to be amended are in DATA lines 10 and 11. The docs refer to Epson printer but the filename and program refer to Gemini printer.... the menu option "ultrasmall" sends chars 27,83,1,10 to the printer- check your printer manual... TINYHUSTLE - REQUIRES MODEM- two players play Hustle connected to each other via modem. A trail laying program where you try to get your opponent to run into a wall or trail. Use ESDX. Opens modem as: RS232.EC.LF, INTERNAL TINYJAMIE - a personalised insult to someone who upset the author. Use arrow keys ESDX to try to run over anyone and anything. No error checking to stop you driving off screen. "You" get points for running things over. There is NO time limit and there is no end to the program. It just keeps going... until the car drifts off screen. Rather pointless and not in the best of taste. TINYJOY- the joystick version of TINYCHAR (see above). Flip squares on off with fire, move with joystick. X to display the hex code. S will clear the array of black squares. TINYMATCH1 - Move image in screen centre to one of the inverted images at screen bottom. Images should overlap perfectly. Keys ESDX. Due to small character size, really difficult. TINYMATCH2 - as above but larger characters, hence "Match Stoutly". Characters to match are diagonal in this one. Easier to match than TINYMATCH1. TINYMAZOID - two player game - a none-modem two player game very like TINYHUSTLE (above). Each player uses a joystick. TINYMOUSE - original game by Andy Wyatt. Use joystick to move mouse (red) to avoid asteroid (blue square) and cat (yellow). Get rid of the cat by getting him to collide with the asteroid.. FIRE to start the game/ the round. Ignore the small white sprites. TINYPEG - the peg jumping solitaire. Use ESDX to move red sprite over peg you wish to move (to jump over another peg) and press Q. Red quare becomes white. Indicate direction to jump with ESDX. The intention is to be left with just one peg. TINYPHONE - Input a phone number and obtain the alpha equivalent to make words from (NB intended for US telephone dials. where 2=ABC, 3=DEF etc, which has continued to mobile phone use- so program still relevant.). Line 2 currently sends output to PIO and can be edited for disk or screen display- NB There are NO letters for 0 or 1. TINYPUZZLE - slide the square tiles to put them in order A to X. Keys ESDX (Change line 6 to the code in line 11 for joystick use, which is buggy.). The program does not detect completion. [A variation on the 4x4 tile puzzle. Most layouts will not be possible of solution as the start layout is random. To guarantee a solution is possible the program needs to start with the end result and make random permissable moves to jumble the layout.] TINYSHIP - The game of battleships for two players to play over a modem link. Grid for player who goes first is on the left. This is where he places his ships. Use ESDX to move. Q to guess. TINYSONAR - Your ship=O. Icebergs=@. Move ship with ESDX and listen. As you get nearer the sub the pings get louder. The sub is moving (at random). You can glimpse the sub if you are within 18 pixels of it. Key Q launches a depth charge. Avoid colliding with an iceberg. Note your ship cannot be stationery once the game starts. TINYSTOMP - Move the big foot at screen top with SD keys. When over a headless body press A. No time limit, no hazards, just plain destruction until you tire. TINYTICTAC - aka Noughts and Crosses- a two player game to be played over a modem connection. Easy cheating. TINYWAVE by John Witte. A moving graphic to drive you crazy. NO user interaction (a brick through the monitor not advised). TINYWHALES - drop atomic bombs on whales from plane at screen top. Press any key to drop bomb. No scoring, no time limit, no hazards. Pure destruction. TINYWHEELS - as in Wheel of Fortune. Original by Ed and Mike Machonis. For TWO players. One types in phrase, other tries to guess it. NB Spaces are not shown initially. You can't guess a space directly- enter your guess as quote space quote " ". You must type any spaces in your phrase guess. When you type in the phrase you earn 1000 for each letter not showing on screen. -=-=-=-=-=eod-=-=-=-=-=-=-= DALLAS DOM 8808 ================================ ARTCONT+ - used by ARTCONVERT ARTCONVERT - ExBas + 32k.
