Super system for PC99. The files in this directory allow you to automatically run a super 99/4A system with lots of useful utility software whenever you boot PC99. Set up the Myarc 512k card on your system to use Myarc XB II using peripherals/setup peripheral in PC99's cfg.exe program. Download the files in this directory. Put the MYARCRD.TMP file your PC99\tmp directory. Place the sector edited 6th gram file of either RXB v2000 or of Extended Basic v2.5 in your pc99/modules directory replacing existing files with the same name. These files make the computer search for DSK5.LOAD, with boots Funnelweb from the Myarc ramdisk as soon as you select extended basic. With RXB v2000 you don't even have to select xb. The computer goes directly to Funnelweb without user intervention as soon as you start PC99, which is really cool! Complete docs for xb2.5 are in the pc99/modules/extended basic 2.5 directory. Docs for rxb are in the pc99/rxb directory. Select XB2.5 or RXB 2000 as your module and then run PC99. You will automatically be moved to DSK5.LOAD which will boot Funnelweb from your Myarc 512k ramdisk card. In addition to Funnelweb I have also configured in some useful utilities like DM1000, Remind Me, DSKU, Funnelweb's Disk Review, Funnelweb's 40 column editor in several languages, and PC99's wsector into a Funnelweb menu running off of DSK5, your Myarc ramdisk. The ramdisk is set up so that it also contains all the Myarc XBII files, which will automatically boot if you use the editor assembler module and select "128k os" from the powerup menu. Your computer will automatically look for the needed files in DSK5 (not the usual DSK1) whenever you select 128k os. You use the editor/assembler module to do this but you do need the accompanying MYARCRD.TMP file. Using this super system configured with a Myarc floppy controller and you still have full use of four DSDD drives. Enjoy! Charles Good
