Fractal Report

edited by

John de Rivaz

Around 1988-1989 John de Rivaz produced a magazine generally covering the field of fractals with an emphasis on the use of computers and graphics generation. None of the earlier issues was dated. ("Fractals are timeless"). Contents Listing

Around 1999 John placed portions of the magazines on Geocities just before it was announced the hosting provider was withdrawing. Although his page has been archived on an unofficial website, to which John has no access, that page alas is likely to serve you content you don't want on your computer and comes with a health warning.

In 2023 I approached John and he agreed that I could scan the magazines I have and place these- in full for the first time- online. There is a great deal to appreciate. The cover pictures are in some cases now available in colour, but I will stick with the original monochrome as the magazine contained no colour images.

Issues will be preserved for the long term by archiving the webpage you now see on web.archive.org
