.LM10;RM70;FI;AD;CE @RAG^SOFTWARE .CE @TI^MULTIPLAN^VERSION^4.00 .SP;CE @GRAM^VERSION .SP;CE November 1989 .HE ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^-%- Version 4.00 is a Fairware enhancement of the TI MULTIPLAN Package. The enhancements are almost entirely related to a speed up of the package. The updates have been made to the MultiPlan version released by TI to all user groups. This disk contains replacement modules for that release. There are two versions of Release 4.00. The "Standard Version" for those who use the MultiPlan Cartridge, and the "GRAM Version" for those who have a GRAM device. This SSSD Disk contains the GRAM Version. The flip side is another SSSD Disk with the Standard Version and the RAGPATCH program. Features of MP GRAM Version 4.00: .SP;IN+5 1.^Almost a 50% reduction in run time. 2.^Fast startup with some or all MP modules in GRAM. 3.^Patches documented for default filenames. 4.^Slight change in entering default disk, ^^^so as to accommadate Hard Disk users. 5.^Patch documented for setting screen colours. .SP;IN+0 Fairware contributions of $10 can be sent to: .IN+10;SP RAG SOFTWARE R.^A.^Green 1032 Chantenay Dr. Gloucester, Ont CANADA K1C 2K9 .IN+0;BP @DISK^CONTENTS The GRAM Version Distribution disk contains the following files: .SP;IN+5 MPBASE^^^^^MP replacement module, ^^^^^^^^^^^(11 Sectors smaller than original) MPDATA^^^^^MP module, (Unchanged from original) MPGK400^^^^RAM Bank 2 (MPINTR) MPGK4001^^^RAM Bank 1 (OVERLAY) MPGK4002^^^GRAM >6000 (New Menu Item) MPGK4003^^^GRAM >8000 (MPCHAR) MPGKCON1^^^GRAM >2000 (MPBASE) MPGKCON2^^^GRAM >4000 (MPDATA) SETUP/GRAM^Patches to change defaults, ^^^^^^^^^^^(Input for RAGPATCH program) .IN+0;SP2 @GETTING^STARTED This package was developed using the Millers Graphics GRAM KRACKER, it should be usable with other GRAM devices provided that they support 8K GRAMs. It is easy to get going. First, load your MultiPlan cartridge into your GRAM device then load MPGK400 into the device. Then, you can copy the files: MPBASE and MPDATA to your MP work disk. Put your work disk in drive 1 and proceed as usual. NOTE: you can remove files MPINTR, MPCHAR and OVERLAY from your work disk as they are now contained in the GRAM device. There is one additional step for those who have a GRAM device with Console GRAMS. Load MPGKCON1 and MPGKCON2 into console GRAMS 1 and 2. This removes the need for the files MPBASE and MPDATA on your work disk. NOTE: the work disk will have only the MPHLP file which you don't need unless you issue the HELP command in MP. When started up, MP will sense if the console GRAMS are loaded or not and will either use them or will load MPBASE and MPDATA from disk. @VERSION^4.00^DIFFERENCES There is one slight difference in the GRAM Version 4.00 of MP. When entering the partial file name for "TRANSFER OPTIONS Setup" you must enter it with a period following it. That is, you must enter "DSK1." rather than "DSK1" as you did previously. This slight incompatibility was introduced in order to support RAM/Hard Disks. You can now enter more than just "DSKn.". For example you could enter "DSK.WORK." to cause Transfers to the disk with diskname "WORK". Hard Disk users could add directory names to the partial filename. @MODIFYING^MPGK400 The file "SETUP/GRAM" is a model for patches you can make to MPGK400 to set default filenames and screen colour. The file can be modified with any text editor and used as input to RAGPATCH to make any changes you require. All numbers in the patches are in hexadecimal. DON'T MAKE MODIFICATIONS TO YOUR ORIGINAL DISK! @REPORTING^BUGS If you have any problems with MP Version 4.00, it would be nice to have a copy of the failing spread sheet on disk. If you do send me a disk, I guarantee that it will be used ONLY to find the bug. I will return any disks with the bug fix. Any patches distributed will be made using the RAGPATCH program so maybe you should check out its docs in file "PATCH/DOC". Print it with TIW V4 Formatter. €†€†‹•Ÿееееееееее分
