Configure PC99 with Myarc FDC. 2. Load Editor/Assembler 3. Put pc99.dsk in dsk1. 4. Start PC99. 5. Do E/A 3, DSK1.DM Using the Myarc Disk Manager attempt to rename a file. Catalog, Edit, (select a file), Rename, Exit, Execute. The program "hangs". The problem has been traced to the Myarc Disk Manager program itself, as delivered on pc99.dsk. The version delivered does not match a version taken from an original 5.25" Myarc Disk Manager Supreme III disk. There are two bytes that are different in two of the delivered files. When the original disk is converted to PC99 format, and used to run the above test, the rename function works correctly. ----------------- I have attached an updated version of pc99.dsk. This contains three replaced files: DM, DM1, and DM2. Could you please make this available on the whtech web site for PC99 users to download. (Should this be pc99.dsk Service Pack 1 to keep up with current standards? Probably not, since it is less than 125Mb. [joke]). Thanks, Mike Wright (for CaDD Electronics) mjmw@mediaone.net Attachment Converted: C:\Eudora\attachments\pc99.dsk
