Here's the list of components: I bought mine from Unicorn Electronics, as they had the best prices overall. www.unicornelectronics.com You need the following components and sockets: Item Quantity P/N 14 pin socket 5 each MT14 16 pin socket 2 each MT16 20 pin socket 5 each MT20 32 pin socket 2 each MT32 40 pin socket 1 each MT40 +5V Regulator, 1 Amp 1 each 7805T .1mf 50V monolithic cap 4 each CPM.150 100mf 16V radial electrolytic cap 1 each CPE10016 47mf 16V radial electrolytic cap 1 each CPE4716 Memory Mapper Chip 1 each 74HCT612 Octal Bus Transceiver 1 each 74HCT245 8-bit Magnitude Comparator 1 each 74HCT688 Octal Driver 3 each 74HCT244 Quad 2-input AND Gate 1 each 74HCT08 8-bit Addressable Latch 1 each 74HCT259 Hex Inverter 1 each 74HCT04 Quad 2-input OR Gate 1 each 74HCT32 3 to 8-line Decoder/De-multiplexer 1 each 74HCT138 Quad Bus Buffer Gate 1 each 74HCT125 Note also that C-1 is the 47mf cap and that C-3 is the 100mf cap, and that the four .1mf caps are not marked--you just have to find their pad pairs. It is best to use a photo of a completed card to see where those four are. Choose your memory chips separately, either 128K or 512K, I didn't list those above. Jim Fetzner == James M. Postle, Sr. Voltage is just as important for the Capacitors as is their value and type. The C-1 -- "If" handling the input voltage (17 Volts) should be 35 Volts. The C-2 is working with 5 Volts, then a 10 Volt device would work. There are different types of capacitors. And... That should be specifide in the parts list as well. That would include the .1mf filters. Four, I think. Or... A part number would work as well. So this list is not totally complete as posted. NOTE: 1. that C-1 is the 47mf cap and; 2. that C-3 is the 100mf cap, and; 3. that the four .1mf caps are not marked--you just have to find their pad pairs. ==== Richard Bell Adds: Some thoughts; Caps should be 35 v rated and a few should be tantalum instead of electrolytic (Especially if the LED circuit is added.). Machine sockets should be used instead of the cheaper "slide" type. To really make this card shine, memory chips should be the 55 nano second speed (Also, either the simple P-Box interface card upgrade of replacing the 74LS244 chips with 74HCT244 chips and installing new 35 v rated electrolytics or Thierry's P-Box wait state reduction mod will help performance). Someone should make up disks of all the Bruce Harrison software that was written for this card for a demonstration that will dazzle even the most hardened TIer so it can be included in the package.
