FLIP.BA by Fred Edelkamp, rewitten by Robert Benson FLIP will switch the two directories on a TDD-2 disk using FLOPPY-2 for support. The main use for this program is to allow DISK POWER, DISK MANAGER and POWR-DOS access to the second directory although it has other uses as well. To use place a disk in the drive, place the cursor over FLIP.BA and press enter, a few seconds later the program will return to the Main Menu and the directories in Banks 1 and 0 will be switched. I have modified FLIP so that it will run on the Model 100, 102 or 200. The program looks for FLOPPY and will tell you if it is not installed, it also will tell you if the drive is not ready! In playing with this program I discovered a bug, if you run FLIP more than once without executing a "write function" such as SAVE or LOAD (thereby leaving the Sector Access Mode and returning to the Command Mode) it will overwrite sectors on the next write instruction. Unfortunately I do not know how to instruct the drive to reset by software at this time so I have included a warning message on the screen while it's running which tells you to turn off the drive momentarily to reset the system. You do not have to do this if you enter FLOPPY and move a file, however entering FLOPPY alone and listing the files will not protect you! Hopefully somebody will write a fix for the bug, Robert Benson
