.IF DSK3.C3 NEW-AGE/99 by Jack Sughrue, Box 459, East Douglas, MA 01516 This *READ/ME file will prevent system lockup of catastrophe when printing out the text files. First, make a backup copy of this disk. Second, deARChive all the text files. LOAD the ARChiver (as "AR" on this disk) through FUNNELWEB Assembly Loaders or through your E/A cartridge. Have a couple initialized disks ready (or one DSDD) to extract and dump all the text files. Then follow the ARChiver directions for your system. Third, make certain the tiny file C3 is on DSK1. LOAD your FORMATTER (from TI WRITER or FUNNELWEB or whatever.) Forth, turn on your printer (Epson compatible, hopefully; otherwise the files may have to have all the coding removed, but that would be less than 1% of ALL printers used for the TI). Fifth, when the FORMATTER asks for your filename, type DSKn.*NEWAGE#1 (later 2, 3, 4 all the way to 11) and push ENTER all the way down. ("n" is the drive from which these articles will be printed.) Each file will print out exactly on two sheets of tractor-feed paper and will autmatically underline, bold-face, etc., because of the C3 file you have on DSK1. (This file is from PLUS! v.2.0.) NOTE: THESE DISKS ARE FREE AND PUBLIC DOMAIN. Please do not charge anything for these articles. They may be reprinted freely. I ask only that, if printed, they be printed in their entirety; that credit statements remain on the copy; and that I be placed on your newsletter exchange list. Thank you very much for your interest in my efforts. These articles and any others I have written over the years (IMPACT/99; TEXTWARE, SOFTWARE, ELSEWHERE; 4/A RAMBLINGS; DRACULA'S DRIPPINGS, etc.) are public domain and may be a part of any user-group or individual library. Anyone interested in getting the "complete" (as much as I still have) free articles, please contact me. Հ
